Mirka designed this 80-grit cloth to resist wear while handling aggressive sanding projects. The aluminum oxide grain efficiently removes material damaged by rust. Longevity and toughness are hallmarks of Mirka Hiolit cloth belts. Hiolit is suitable for use on softwoods, hardwoods, non-ferrous metals and mild steel.

To create Hiolit cloth, Mirka applies aluminum oxide grain to its X-weight cloth backing. A resin-over-resin bond gives the belt its unique strength. Mirka’s Hiolit cloth portable belts sand surfaces without leaving marks and gouges, and their quality construction creates a stellar finish on commercial and industrial objects.
