Description
This Mirka GOLD five-inch sanding disc features a very fine grit for dry sanding and light sanding between finish coats. It has a semi-open special stearate that prevents clogging and pill forming. As a result, you can create a sanded surface with the smoothness you desire. The semi-open coating has fewer abrasive grains for a slow, unaggressive cut.
This grip style disc is easy to attach to your sander. It forms a secure connection between the backup pad and disc that is stable during use and simple to remove for replacement. This design can help you save time on your projects. The paper backing is C-paper for heavy-duty work.
During sanding, the sawdust will be sucked into the collection bag or chamber of your sander through the 42 holes (42H) in the disc. Removing the sawdust immediately prevents it from getting under the disc and negatively affecting performance.
