Description
Mirka GOLD discs have the durability and reliability necessary for high-speed sanding projects in many applications. They feature a semi-open special stearate coating that prevents clogging and pilling for optimal sanding results.
The paper backing for the five-inch grip disc is C-paper for heavy work. This disc has a grip attachment style, forming a connection between the backup pad and the disc. It is easy to change when the disc is worn out to save time on your projects. While sanding, the 42 holes (42H) will draw the sawdust into the collection bag or chamber. This prevents the sawdust from getting under the disc and affecting sanding performance.
With a grit of 40 (P40), this disc is an extremely fine rating. It is made for highly sanitized finishes and wet sanding. You can also use it on soft woods like pine, fir and spruce or soft metals like aluminum, brass, copper and zirconium.
This product comes in a box of 50, so you’ll always have replacements on hand.
